Arbor Housing and Development
Founded in 1969, Arbor Housing and Development began as a volunteer-driven organization dedicated to poverty relief. Today it is a progressive nonprofit corporation committed to building independence and creating housing options. Along with residential behavioral health and domestic violence services that help people overcome challenges and live safely on their own, Arbor offers assistance for renters and homebuyers that translates to the security and stability all people deserve.
Arbor provides HUD-certified housing counseling and first-time homebuyer services, as well as rental subsidies through its Housing Choice Voucher Program. Its service area includes the Northern Tier of Pennsylvania, with a focus on community development and affordable housing development.
